Todd Richter Donates Dollars Toward Educational Purposes

In the 30 years since attaining his college and post-graduate education, Todd Richter has successfully built a prosperous career for himself. His expertise in securities analysis and significant knowledge of the financial field, its forecasting and its relationship to healthcare has made Richter one of Wall Street’s leading analysts in the healthcare field.

Now, looking back on the two educational institutions that laid a sturdy foundation for his successes, Richter is giving back to these organizations in the hopes of inspiring others and funding college possibilities.

Richter is a 1979 graduate of William & Mary, a premier public research university in Virginia. There he earned his undergraduate degree while also a member of the school’s golf team -- a life-changing experience that led to a donation of $5 million to directly support the men’s and women’s golf program in perpetuity. Richter also graduated from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, gaining his Masters in Business Administration in 1981. He provided the Kelley School with a $5 million endowment fund as well, which will fund professorships, fellowships and other endeavors related to the financial department that provided Richter with his invaluable education. This $10 million in donations will continue Richter’s legacy while providing others with immense opportunities.
