Todd Richter: Supporting Education, Athletics, and Animal Welfare

Todd Richter has developed a philanthropic legacy that reaches well beyond a single institution or cause. His giving encompasses graduate finance education, collegiate athletics, and animal welfare, with each commitment reflecting a preference for long-term and structured support. Richter's connection to higher education began with the College of William & Mary, where he completed his undergraduate degree in 1979. He later earned an MBA from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business in 1981. Both universities subsequently became important parts of his philanthropic efforts. At Kelley, Richter committed $5 million through an estate gift.
